This program provides strong writing, reading, speaking, and research skills, plus the American cultural experience necessary to succeed in U.S. universities and colleges. TOEFL (CBT) preparation is included.

The American Language and Culture Institute is located on the campus of California State University San Marcos. It is located on the hills of San Marcos, a friendly, safe, suburban community in the rapidly growing region of North San Diego County. With a superb climate and located conveniently between the cities of San Diego to the south and Los Angeles to the North, ALCI is close to the famous and beautiful beaches, spectacular mountains and scenic deserts of southern California.

Applications are accepted all year. Students must submit a completed ALCI application form, $100 application fee, $25 express mail fee(if you would like your documents express mailed to your international address), bank statement dated within the past 6 months, and a photocopy of your passport.
