GRLC invites you to come and enjoy a language travel experience in the heart of the adventure capital of South Africa, the Garden Route.Our English school and student residence are situated on a privately owned island in Plettenberg Bay, offering our students a unique experience of incorporating comprehensive tuition and convenient accommodation.We offer general and intensive English courses designed to improve accuracy, focusing on grammatical skills, reading & writing and fluency skills in afternoon conversation classes. We offer all levels, from elementary to upper intermediate. We do not offer business and exam preparation classes as our emphasis is based on language and adventure.Our aim is to provide our students with a combination of language and adventure. GRLC combines comprehensive tuition and interactive group participation in outdoor and adventure activities, providing students the opportunity to continually develop their language skills both in and out the classroom in the form of a “Language Safari”.After classes we head for the beach, river, lagoon or simply relax on the island. Weekly activities are decided by student interest and are optional, however we encourage group participation in afternoon activities such as beach volleyball, surfing and kite surfing lessons, hiking, canoeing etc... Weekend activities include adrenaline sports such as bungy jumping, sky diving, shark cage diving, day trip safari tours and whale and dolphin watching. We finish off with weekend BBQs to reflect and share experiences.
