Live and Learn English in sunny Malta with your teacher at ZETH. Practise your English with a friendly English speaking family living in a four storey house by the sea in Pembroke, Malta.
Lessons: Our lessons are ONE-TO-ONE and are personalised for your specific level of English and for your own needs, whether for school, business, exam preparation or for just pleasure. All ages are welcome.
Family: I live with my husband Noel who is a qualified teacher in Physics. We have 3 children. Nathan our son, our eldest daughter Nicole, who is also a qualified Physics and TEFL teacher of English. Hannah is our youngest daughter. We are a family of teachers.
Area: We live in Pembroke which is a quite residential near the sea, The beach is just a few minutes walk away from our home. There are also exciting coastal walks for those who like walking or jogging. For those that like to be in a busy tourist resort you will find St Julian's Bay and St George's Bay which are just a short walk from our home. In George's Bay you will find a sandy beach, cinemas, bowling ally, bars, restaurants and a lovely promenade.
House: Our home is a modern 4 storey house. It is situated close to the sea with side sea views from all bedrooms.
Transport: The bus stop to Valletta and to other parts of the island is just a 5-minute walk from our house with a frequent and excellent bus service because we are situated near the Pembroke Park and Ride. Maps and information are given to all our guests.
4 Free Cultural Activities with a family member:
Students who stay with us for more than 1 week will have the opportunity to go to: ★A guided tour of the capital city Valletta and sightseeing to the Palaces and majestic Grand Harbour. Valletta is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE. ★The magnificent Blue Grotto and boat trip to the crystal clear water of the Blue Grotto. Boat ride included (weather permitting). ★Hagar Qim and Mnajdra megalithic temple complex built (about 4000 BC) These Prehistoric temples are also a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE. Visual film and Audio guide included. ★Imdina the fortified, medieval capital city situated in the centre of the island. At Imdina we also try the traditional Maltese food - pastizzi.
