Padworth College is housed in an 18th Century country house in its own grounds, ideally located in beautiful countryside near Reading, just 45 minutes by road from Heathrow.
We provide a wide range of English language programmes which aim to offer a course for all students aged 9-18 who wish to improve their English Language skills. Our Easter and Summer Schools offer students from all over the world aged 9-16 years the opportunity to enjoy an active holiday in England whilst being immersed in the English language. All Year Language and Activities courses are residential courses similar to Easter and Summer Schools but which operate at any time during the school year for a period of time of 2 weeks to a whole term for both groups and individuals. Intensive courses in General English or English for Academic Purposes lead to appropriate English Language examinations. Students can be accepted at any point during the academic year for any length of time from one term to two years. In addition, there is an intensive seven week summer programme preparing overseas students who intend to take up academic programmes at boarding schools in the UK.
