This programme is aimed at teenagers ( 16-17) who would like a degree of flexibility aimed at their specific age range. This is a non-supervised programme, but 5 activities per week in Bournemouth will be included in the package. Students have the freedom to explore Bournemouth on their own. Of course, students will be given all the necessary information regarding their stay during the Welcome Meeting and Town Walk with the IP welfare coordinator. Our English-speaking IP welfare coordinator is available if any problems do arise. Please note age appropriate curfew times apply (UK only).
20 lessons x 45 mins or 15 hours per week Lessons normally take place from Monday to Friday between 09:30 and 12:45 or in the afternoon between 13:45 and 17:00. Each of the four morning lessons focus on a specific area of language learning: grammar and language work, reading and listening, or communicative activities and speaking practice. Our aim is to provide you with the vocabulary and grammar required for effective communication and particular attention is paid to improving speaking, writing and listening skills.

This course follows the General English course and has two additonal lessons after lunch focussing on the IELTS preparation. Minimum level required: B1.
