Our language summer school, Trinity School, is situated on a lush hilltop in a picturesque area overlooking the sea and the small streets of Teignmouth centre. You will easily meet fellow students from all over Europe - in 2017 we had between 70 and 150 students per week from 8 different countries.
Your parents don't have to worry about your (first) stay in England: Trinity's closed campus guarantees a comfortable and secure environment for our young learners. All the English lessons as well as most of the exciting activity programme take place directly on campus.
In the mornings you will attend the General or Intensive English course with your fellow students . Courses available: General English Course (15x45 minutes/11.25 hours per week), (A1-B2), 9:00-11:45 including breaks Intensive English Course (20x45 minutes/15 hours per week), (A1-B2), 9:00-12:30 including breaks *General English Course Plus 5 (15x45 minutes + 5x45 minutes/15 hours per week),(A1-B2), 09:00-11:45am, the 5 private lessons are offered either at noon or in the early afternoon
We offer an exciting and supervised activity programme during afternoons and evenings – seven days a week.
All the English lessons as well as most of the exciting activity programme take place directly on campus.
Residential Accommodation – Trinity School There are three different housing units on campus. Each area is located close to each other within easy reach of all activities, lessons, and meals. Laundry can be handed in to the team on campus. Bed linen will be provided. Towels are not provided.
15 lessons x 45 mins or 11.25 hours per week
Lessons normally take place from Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 11:45. Each of the three morning lessons focuses on a specific area of language learning: grammar and language work, reading and listening, or communicative activities and speaking practice. Our aim is to provide you with the vocabulary and grammar required for effective communication with particular attention is paid to improving speaking and listening skills. the goal of the course is to strengthen you communication skills and help to overcome your own speaking inhibitions.
The following levels are catered for: beginner (A1), elementary (A2), pre-intermediate (B1), upper intermediate (B2). Duration: minimum 1 week
20 lessons x 45 mins or 15 hours per week
The Intensive Course consists of the General English Course plus an additional lesson per day (11:45 -12:30) which focuses on a fourth area of language learning: Project-based lesson which emphasis on writing skills. The following levels are catered for: beginner (A1), elementary (A2), pre-intermediate (B1), upper intermediate (B2). Duration: minimum 1 week
15 + 5 x 45 mins or 15 hours per week
This course consists of our General English Course plus an additional private lesson per day which focuses on your individual needs and wishes. The general course normally takes place Monday to Friday from 09:00-11:45am. The private lessons are offered either at noon or in the early afternoon. The following levels are catered for: beginner (A1), elementary (A2), pre-intermediate (B1), upper intermediate (B2). Duration: minimum 1 week
