We are WE Bridge Academy – a professional English language school located in the very heart of Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom. Our premises can be found inside South Gate House – an executive business building that overlooks the centre of Cardiff and is a five-minute walk from Cardiff Central railway station.
Our friendly team are passionate about delivering exceptional standards of education and encouraging the very best from our students in a professional learning environment. Our spacious classrooms are equipped with modern technology. We offer tea and coffee making facilities, a spacious student lounge, free Wi-Fi and a multi-faith prayer room and washing facilities.
In 2018 we took over additional space within Southgate House to create new offices and four brand new classrooms. Floor 10 boasts a ‘quiet room’ for our students where they can relax or work on those all-important assignments without being disturbed.
Our genuine and friendly approach to teaching is what makes us different. We have a real passion to see everyone that studies with us succeed and anyone aged 16 and over is welcome to join us.
The IFP has been specifically developed for international students who want to study for an undergraduate degree but do not possess British A-Level qualifications (Year 13).
You will have completed your secondary school education in your own country and are looking for a programme that will provide you with the knowledge, skills and confidence to embark upon undergraduate study at an overseas university.
The IFP (NCC Education International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education – L3IFDHES) at WE Bridge Academy is awarded by NCC Education.
There are 4 pathways: Business, Computing, Engineering and Science.
Our General English classes provide a professional and relaxed learning environment where students are helped to develop the four essential skills of language communication: speaking, listening, reading and writing.
You can choose the number of hours you study and the number of weeks, dependent on the type of visa you have.
As well as improving their general language capability, students learn and practice key skills and exam techniques required for the IELTS exam.
Each English for Specific Purposes (ESP) course focuses on career-specific vocabulary and contexts, and is combined with a General English programme in order to develop your overall English language skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing. These courses benefit professionals who want to develop their English communication skills for a work environment.
If you wish to achieve a specific goal, such as studying for an exam, we can provide professional and personal tuition. We can help you identify key areas for improvement, as well as providing support in areas of particular concern to you. One-to-one tuition can be arranged at a time convenient for you at WE Bridge Academy.

The Level 4 Diploma in Business (L4DB) qualification is equivalent to the first year of a Business degree qualification in the UK university system.
Students are introduced to many different aspects of international business in today’s world. The course contains both academic and vocational aspects of a wide range of subjects, enabling students to gain the necessary knowledge and skills vital for a career in business or further study.
The qualification allows students entry to either the NCC Education Level 5 Diploma in Business (which is equivalent to year 2 of a typical UK honours degree), the second year of many UK university degree courses or a career in the business industry.
