Founded 2021 185 students, aged 6 - 18 International curriculum, Cambridge International Programme, IELTS, TOEFL, iGCSE and the English National Curriculum. 12 staff

Mantles of responsibility provided enriched leadership opportunities that presented a simple conclusion:

• If you cannot influence change, you must build your own – and so we did – WINFORD INTERNATIONAL.

We understand the needs of students, parents and the community. We are not just about grades on paper that keep parents happy, and the students continually set up to fail. It’s a controversial statement – we know!

Founded for the sole purpose of empowering, equipping and enriching students to be internationally diverse, curiously rich in critical thinking, effective problem solvers and super communicators in English, Maths, Science and Global Perspectives.

Winford International is a full-time online school. Over time, we noticed more parents choosing to have their children educated at home. Then came Covid-19 which turned things upside down. It forced the hands of educators to rethink the learning models. Many leaders didn’t move for fear of not getting it right, believing the situation would be quickly resolved and back to business as usual. However, this is the new ‘usual’. We at Winford International anticipated this, it’s long been our dream to build a school – the very right school that parents, students and the community truly need and deserve.

Education focuses too much on rote-learning, numbers, grades, ticks in boxes and parents’ money. We understand much is missing in this sentiment; it fails to fully prepare children for their futures. It’s well documented that traditional schools are bogged down in bureaucracy, ineffective leadership and poor decision making that is failing to prepare students for the new world and/or the labour market.

At Winford International, we do things differently. Firstly, we focus on your child as an individual. Then we help them understand where they are, how they fit in, and give them agency of how to see where they want to go. Finally, we use our cutting-edge learning materials to engage your child through a safe, secure, inspiring and hugely progressive learning journey.

In the fullness of time – your child will emerge from Winford International educated, confident, skilled and ready for their next season of life; be it, transitioning through school, moving onto further/higher education/university or into the workplace.

In short, your child will be very aware, self-reliant, and curiously asking: What, Why, Where, When, Who, What If and How?
