Description
Calgary Alberta is located amidst the natural beauty of Western Canada and the Rocky Mountains. You can enjoy fresh air, friendly people and wide-open space as you take the time to visit Calgary and its surrounding sites. Calgary, a city of almost one million people, is one of the most popular and growing cities in Canada because of its safety, clean air, fresh water and natural surroundings.
Classes will be Monday through Friday, five hours a day, for a total of 25 hours per week. Courses will include advanced reading, advanced vocabulary building, TOEFL listening, essay writing, and a speaking component which will work in coordination with the other classes. Instruction will aim not only at preparing students for success on the TOEFL exam, but at preparing them to be able to deal with the challenges of their future university careers. In addition, there will be a focus on maximum student-teacher interaction, with various activities outside of the classromm. Major activities such as ski trips in the Rocky Mountains are available, but participation is optional.
