The Institute of American Language and Culture is adjacent to Lincoln Center and across the street from the Time Warner Building. It is steps away Central Park and the Trump International Hotel and within walking distance of the 5th Avenue shopping district. Times Square and Broadway theaters are a short subway ride away.

The Institute of American Language and Culture (IALC), located at the Lincoln Center campus of Fordham University, offers classes in English as a Second Language from beginning to university preparatory levels. Core courses in Writing, Grammar & Reading and Speaking, Listening, & Vocabulary are offered at all skill levels. At the advanced levels, content courses are also offered. Content courses contain academic subject matter and prepare students for university study. Examples of content courses include American Government and Politics, Modern Short Fiction, and American Culture in Film.
