Dormitories and Accommodations There are 15 resident halls grouped largely into two residential communities, or South and East/West Campuses. All halls are coed except for Balentine Hall, which is an all-female residence hall. Males may request an all-male floor. In addition, York Village and Doris Twitchell Allen Village are apartment complexes available to students who have lived here for at least two years. DTAV is equipped with game room, updated telecommunications, and a meeting place for studying. Campus areas typically consist of a group of 3 residence halls, a dining common. Hall Governing Boards, and different lifestyle option, including a Chem-Free and quiet areas. The average Residence Hall room houses two students (though single rooms are available) and is furnished with a bed, bookshelf, dresser, closet, desk and a chair for each student. Also, every room is equipped with voice mail, cable and Internet access all of which is provided to the student for no extra cost.
