California College of Communications is located in Silicon Valley, near Santa Clara University and San Jose State University.
CalCC offers ESL instruction with 6 levels of English proficiency. There are morning, afternoon and evening courses. In addition to the academic courses, students may also choose classes such as Practical English, Professional English, TOEFL or IELTS Preparation, Conversation hour, Pronunciation Lab , American Business Culture, and American Sitcoms.

Our school offers small class sizes for individual attention and affordable prices for foreign students to improve their English skills in reading, speaking, writing and grammar. Courses are designed to teach the skills to prepare them for college and university as well as their personal growth and development. CalCC Language Programs are nationally accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET). CalCC is authorized to issue I-20’s for foreign student visas. We do not place the students in internships or work positions during or after their enrollment at CalCC. Our students have been transferred to reputable universities and colleges not only in California, but around the country. ACADEMIC ESL
Students will learn the skills needed to survive in an English speaking environment. They will improve their communication, grammar, writing and pronunciation skills along with their vocabulary. They will be able to prepare documents developing outlines, researching and composing and applying all these utilizing their critical thinking.

PROFESSIONAL ESL
This program focuses on helping non-native speakers with the necessary fluency, accuracy and communication skills to effectively communicate in English and succeed in an ever-changing business world. This program offers a more comprehensive curriculum that involves not only learning English, but also using that language as a medium to effectively prepare students to choose the right major for their future career planning.
This program consists of 4 comprehensive modules. Each module is sub-divided into 3 sessions of 4 weeks each. Every 4 week session is designed to focus on a different career field/industry (e.g. Social Media, Human Resources, Accounting, Computer Science, Mobile Application Technology, Entrepreneurship Skills , etc.). Students can register for a single module or multiple modules for this program.

CONVERSATION IN CULTURE PROGRAM
This program is a wonderful opportunity for international students and it's designed for all levels of English language learners to improve both speaking and understanding conversational English scenarios. Students will develop cultural understanding in today's global community by connecting with people from different cultures through conversation. For International students this program can only be an extra program for their curriculum, because 12 hours per week is not enough for their visa requirements.

Students can register and try out a program for a short term as we have a Summer School option available. They will come and spend 4 weeks here in Silicon Valley. After taking the morning ESL classes, they will go on short trips to Silicon Valley hot spots, and Bay Area Colleges & Universities. They will also have a two-day weekend camp in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
