Accredited by ACCET, we are an English School founded in 1987 with the purpose of providing English as a Second Language (ESL) education to international students in a communicative, student-centered environment. At LSI we provide high-quality language programs designed to build students’ skills and self-confidence when communicating in English in either academic or professional situations.

We have four locations in Southern California: Downtown Los Angeles, Northeast Los Angeles (in Pasadena), South Bay Los Angeles (in Torrance), and Orange County.

Whether you want to be close to the beach or in the city, we have a location for you, near convenient public transportation. Each school is located in a uniquely different neighborhood, all surrounded by interesting attractions and plenty of things to do.

When you choose our South Bay Campus in Torrance, you will be near the beaches on the Santa Monica Bay. Other popular spots around this are Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, StubHub Center, Del Amo Fashion Center, California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH), and El Camino College.
