Our language center in Houston is located in the historic neighborhood of Montrose, in the famous Museum District. One of the most pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods in Houston, Montrose offers tree-shaded streets, international restaurants and vintage shops. And just steps away from our front door is the entrance to St. Thomas University.
LCI Language Centers provides quality language instruction in great locations across the United States. With 15 years of experience in ESL instruction, LCI offers multiple intensive English programs including: General English, Academic English, and Executive English. The General English program has six levels from beginner to advanced. The GE classes are small groups between 4-20 students per class. The lessons focus on the four principals of Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing. The Academic English program is a full-time language program with college-level English objectives. With 24 hours of instruction per week given in five terms of ten weeks over one year. The AEP also has six levels from beginner to advanced. The Executive English program is designed for business professionals who need to learn Business English. The curriculum is tailored to each professional’s needs. LCI has test preparation courses for the GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, and IELTS. The language center is an official testing center for the ITEP and TOEIC. LCI has partnerships with universities in Colorado and across the U.S. The agreement with our university partners allows LCI students to waive the TOEFL test after successfully completing Level 5. Student Services at LCI provide assistance in legal documents, student housing, student advising, and school-sponsored activities.
