The English as a Second Language (ESL) program has successfully served the needs of thousands of immigrant students in Denver since 1916. Enrollment in the program exceeds 2000 students a year. The foundation of our programs is in our robust, student-centered curricula and our highly experienced faculty and staff. We also have an extensive network of volunteers who play a vital role in supporting our work.
We're located at 1860 Lincoln St in downtown Denver.
The ESL faculty provide student-centered instruction, and all have the necessary experience, certifications, and degrees to ensure excellent classroom instruction. Many have advanced degrees, are industry thought leaders, and serve on boards of local and national organizations in TESOL, adult education, refugee empowerment, literacy, and accreditation bodies for ESL programs.
All students are welcome in our ESL program, and all pay the same tuition. New students come to room 426 to take a placement test and register for courses.
Scholarships for ESL students to improve their English and to complete career and technical education are available. Click here for information on how to apply.
