The University of Miami is located on the Coral Gables campus, located 20 minutes south of the Miami International Airport. There is a metro-rail stop on campus, that will connect you with many of Miami's other attractions, including Brickell, Downtown, Coconut Grove, etc.
The mission of the University of Miami Intensive English Program is to prepare international students to enter a university in the U.S. by providing instruction in English language and academic study skills. The IEP also helps its international students adapt to university life and American culture. The program facilitates intercultural understanding, offers support and guidance related to non-academic issues, and builds ease and confidence in a new culture. The Intensive English Program serves the University of Miami by recruiting students and preparing them for academic study, and by providing language support services to the university community.
The University of Miami IEP offers both full and mid-sessions.
The cost for the full 14-week session is $7,680. The cost for the mid 6-week session is $4,700.

Other Programs Services
The IEP offers a variety of social activities, including snorkeling, bowling, boat rides through the Everglades, over-night trips to Universal Studios, International Thanksgiving, etc.
There are also language conversation programs, not only to practice spoken English, but also to promote intercultural understanding with cross cultural conversations.
