Our English Language Program offers three entry dates throughout the year: January, June and August. Students entering in January and August enroll in a 15-week course. The summer semester begins in June and is 8 weeks long. All sessions offer 19 hours of classroom instruction per week plus additional hours in the language laboratory. The Program offers five intensive levels and a new Graduate Pathways Program.
Students can either come as an admitted Undergraduate student in a degree program or can come as a non-degree student to study English only.
International Undergraduates do not have to have a language test score (iBT or IELTS) for admission. Students must show English Proficiency before beginning academic classes. Admitted students can take the ELP's on-campus test (EPT - English Proficiency Test) or the ELP's online WildCAT test of English to show English Proficiency.
Students at the advanced (exit level) can take English and academic classes at the same time. Students who have an English test score (iBT or IELTS) can be placed in English classes without further testing.
