Oklahoma State University is located in Stillwater, a small, safe community of approximately 30,000 in the heart of the United States. It is a one-hour drive from international airports in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Although Stillwater experiences all four seasons, winters are mild; blue skies and sunshine are enjoyed throughout the year.
ELI offers two semesters of sixteen weeks each and an eight-week summer program. A typical weekly schedule consists of twenty hours of teacher-taught classes in addition to five hours in a combination of laboratories (audio/video, computer, and reading) and conversation classes.
Housing is readily available in Stillwater. Students may live in apartments either on or off campus or in one of the ten halls in the award-winning residence halls system, which offers a great deal of flexibility in choosing meal plans.
