Description
The Intensive English Language Program (IELP) at Bennett College provides Intensive English or English as a Second Language (ESL) training and academic preparation for students interested in improving their English skills and preparing for college classes. Through classroom instruction, opportunities for private language exchange, and cultural activities our goal is to help students develop the language skills needed to succeed in their professional or academic lives. The program is open to both domestic and international students and will help prepare students interested in pursuing their undergraduate or graduate studies in the United States of America. The program is demanding and comprehensive and is offered in 8-week sessions, which cover work in the areas of listening, speaking, reading, and writing and will involve assignments both inside and outside the classroom. Students will have opportunities to interact with other Bennett students and practice their English skills and local field trips will be planned.
