Description

Listen to Learn is a program offered to immigrants and refugees in the Portland area providing one-to-one and small group instruction in English language and literacy. The program is free (no cost to the learner) and accommodates a range of proficiencies, for those who know very little English to those who need to polish their language skills for jobs, further education, or application for citizenship. Trained tutors meet with English learners for two-hour sessions once or twice a week on a flexible schedule. Tutoring sessions are offered at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, 147 NW 19th Avenue, very close to bus and MAX lines.
