Multnomah University’s TESOL Department is offering a 12-day opportunity for international students to get a taste of university life in the U.S. while practicing real-life English and exploring some of the fun and beauty that Portland has to offer.
Culture Camp will be held in Portland, Oregon, USA, August 2 – 14, 2019
What do you learn?
During this inclusive 12-day program, you will participate in intensive English language classes and explore some of Oregon’s favorite sights and activities, including the historic Columbia River Gorge and the Oregon Coast.
Who can join?
Culture Camp is open to international guests eligible for visitor visas between the ages of 16 and 25. Guests will be responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from the Portland International Airport (PDX). Airport pick-up and drop-off will be arranged for guests who provide travel itineraries. Activities and classes will take place from August 3 – 13.
Lodging and meals
Guests will reside in student dormitories on the campus of Multnomah University, where classes and activities will take place. Most meals and activity fees are included within registration. Students will be responsible for a few meals during their stay and costs of some optional activities.
