IELP is located on the campus of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, a metropolitan university in the capital of the state of Arkansas. Little Rock boasts a mild climate, peaceful surroundings, and breathtaking natural beauty. Students enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, fishing, boating, and water-skiing. Little Rock is driving distance to Dallas, New Orleans, Memphis, and St. Louis.
The Intensive English Language Program (IELP) is a 6- level university preparatory language program. Each term is 8 weeks and can be entered at any point in the term. Classes are offered in grammar, reading, writing, listening, speaking, vocabulary, and TOEFL preparation. Level 6 and University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) courses can be attended simultaneously if the student is academically admissible to UALR. No TOEFL is required for graduates of IELP who apply to UALR.
