Intensive English Program

Description

The Intensive English Program is located in Novato, a surburban enrivonment in northern Marin county. It is only a half hour drive from the Golden Gate Bridge, the city of San Francisco, the Pacific Ocean, and the California wine country.

The Intensive English Program is part of the College of Marin, one of the oldest community colleges in California. The program is located in a beautiful, safe, suburban setting amid rolling hills in Northern California. The program offers 20 hours a week of classes, with an optional four hours of conversation seminars. Coursework integrated content and skills while preparing students for the demands of college and university work. Students are also prepared for the Tso of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
